The New London Orchestra is proud to have made 20 discs on the Hyperion label, one of Britain’s most distinguished and successful independent record labels.

Our recordings fall into three categories

the best-selling British Light Music Classics and other light musicchamber orchestra repertoire by composers such as Poulenc, Milhaud, Satie and Prokofiev operettas by composers such as Sullivan and Sidney Jones, including a number of first recordings.

Our most recent release (April 2008) are songs from shows by Lionel Monckton.

Forthcoming Release

In February 2009 the New London Orchestra recorded music by Grazyna Bacewicz for its 21st CD on Hyperion Records, with works including 'Music for Strings, 5 Trumpets and Timpani', 'Symphony for Strings', 'Divertimento for Strings', 'Symphoniette', and 'Concerto for Strings Orchestra'. The disc was released in December 2009 and you can hear previews of the tracks by going to the Hyperion website.
