Urban Voices
In 2003-2004, supported by the National Lottery’s Community Fund, and Network Pathfinder, Urban Voices involved 300 people from schools and community groups in Gospel Oak, Camden. The participants wrote text about their area for a composition by Ronald Corp which was performed in February 2004 at Talacre Sports Centre. This project also included DJ workshops for the Queens Crescent Youth Inclusion Project, who performed their track at the final concert.
Chiswick House project
In 2005, in collaboration with English Heritage, the New London Orchestra created two projects for the Chiswick House Summer Festival: creating and performing an original song with three local primary schools, and creating a unique installation using spatial sound, CCTV and live orchestral musicians in collaboration with Thor McIntyre-Burnie.
