Education

Education is central to the life of the New London Orchestra. Our programme was established in 2000 to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to benefit from the positive impacts of participating in music.

We have developed a unique programme which aims to enhance learning in the key curriculum subjects of Maths, Literacy, and Science through fun participatory music workshops. These projects also offer training and support to teachers, and give many children their first direct experiences of instrumental music-making.

As well as working in mainstream schools we also work with children and adults with varying special needs.
