From time to time, the New London Orchestra undertakes projects in which only a small number of musicians take part. In particular, the orchestra supports a Young Performers Concert Series, where young soloists perform a lunchtime programme each month at the Foundling Museum, London WC1.

The orchestra can provide small groups of musicians for corporate events, with groups ranging from a solo harpist or jazz trio to a 16-piece chamber ensemble. We have also provided music for weddings, summer fun days, and office Christmas parties.

Recent events involving small groups of the orchestra's musicians include: a Family Fun Day inside the Athletes' Village on the Olympic and Paralympic site in east London, an experimental theatre piece at Stratford Old Town Hall, a string quartet to play at the Mayor of London's evening at City Hall to promote Latin teaching, and a string orchestra to play for the United Arab Emirates National Day.
